Amy started shooting with her dad because he was an avid deer hunter. They used to shoot at pop cans in the backyard. She started shooting for 4-H and finally received her first smallbore rifle. She made the National Team at Fall Selection in 2006. Amy graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2007, with a degree in Political Science. |

Amy is a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Though she is right handed, Amy plays pool better left handed than right handed. In her free time, Amy enjoys painting, reading and playing games like chess, scrabble and card games. |
