Child Guard Supports USA Shooting and Education Initiative Rochester, Minn. (November 28, 2006) USA Shooting announced today that Child Guard, LLC, will serve as an official Supporting Partner of USA Shooting to provide technical expertise, financial support and products in support of USA Shooting teams through 2008. "USA Shooting is excited to welcome Child Guard to the USA Shooting Supporting Partner family," said Buddy DuVall, the Director of Marketing for the non-profit organization. "We pride ourselves on the safety record of U.S. athletes, and we are proud to provide top American shooters with access to an excellent product designed to assist in the safe storage of firearms." As part of the three-year agreement, Child Guard and USA Shooting will collaborate on the development of an innovative, national safety education program designed to instruct both competitive and first-time shooters on proper firearm safety. The program is expected to be rolled out in 2007. "We are delighted that USA Shooting is working with us as we spread the message that safe storage and handling of guns must begin at the training level, so today's generation of competitive shooters can pass the message onto their peers and to the next generation of gun owners," said Jim Burton, CEO of Child Guard. "The credibility of USA Shooting among firearm owners is an important component of our ongoing education and marketing efforts to make the world saferâ", added Burton. Child Guard products will be available on the usashooting.org web site under the "Shop Online" link.
