2010 First Round Invitations Announced for Rifle/Pistol National Junior Olympic Championships

Colorado Springs, Colo. (February 12, 2010)

The first round of invitations for the 2010 Rifle and Pistol National Junior Olympic Championships have been made. All invitations were mailed out by February 12, 2010. Please give an appropriate amount of time to wait for your invitation in the mail. A complete list of cutoff scores and first round invitees, listed by member number only, is available at the link below. Please click on the corresponding tab for your event.

All first round invitations must be accepted or declined by March 12th by faxing or mailing the yellow entry form to 719-866-4884 or USA Shooting NJOSC, 1 Olympic Plaza, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. Housing at the Olympic Training Center must be accepted or declined at that time. If you do not accept or decline your offer by March 12th, your space in the match will be given to another competitor.

Please read your packets carefully. All purple and green forms for first round invitees are due by March 26th with the appropriate signatures.

You may only compete in the event that you have qualified for. No additional allowances or invitations will be made until the second round. For example, if you have qualified for Air Rifle and not for Smallbore, you must wait for the second round of invitations to see if you are invited.

Second round invitations will be processed during the week of March 15th. A complete list of second round invitees will be available on the USA Shooting website by the end of that week. All invitations will be placed in the mail.
