USAS Eleganté Range

Colorado Springs, CO

The coaching clinic is designed to help coaches gain valuable information and insights on how to effectively train junior-level athletes in the International Olympic Air Pistol discipline.  Registration includes one coach and one athlete.  The process will include detailed explanations, hands-on demonstrations, and coach/athlete interactions. The guiding principle behind this clinic is to Coach the Coaches in order to foster better pistol coaching and pistol programs at local clubs around the country, growing the pistol program in the USA.  Coaches and athletes will receive a certificate of completion from USA Shooting.

Both coaches and athletes attending the clinic must be current USA Shooting members.  Everyone in attendance who is 18 years or older must complete the Safe Sport Training module available free of charge through your USA Shooting member portal before arriving for the clinic. Find How-To guides on our website (https://www.usashooting.org/11-resources/safesport). The clinic will be open to the first 20 Coach/Athlete tandems to sign up. Coaches only should send an email to brent.mcpherson@usashooting.org with the name of the athlete they are bringing with them.   Please include the athlete’s full name, USA Shooting member number, age, and experience level in shooting in the email.  (Coaches MUST first register online through their USA Shooting member profile).

Bonus each athlete will get to shoot in a USAS sanctioned PTO on the last day of the event.  Registration includes one relay. If an athlete would like to shoot multiple relays, they may do so for additional $25 paid to the NTCSC per relay at the event. (Advance registration is required for additional relays – contact Brent.)
